Meet Tracey Jennings

   Tracey is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor. She received her BSW while at St. Mary's College in Notre Dame, IN. and MSW at George Warren Brown School of Social Work, Washington University in St. Louis, MO. Following graduate school while pursuing an LCSW, Tracey completed the Marriage and Family Therapy Training Program through the Karl Menninger School of Psychiatry and Mental Health Sciences in 1998. While living in St. Louis both during and after graduate school, Tracey specialized in Autism Spectrum Disorders.  In 2000, Tracey returned to her home in Tulsa to be closer to family and continue her social work career. She worked as a school based therapist, residential therapist for women and their children who are struggling with addiction and mental health disorders. Tracey is Board Approved Licensure Supervisor.  In August of 2016, Tracey transitioned to private practice to continue her passion for working with individuals  who experience anxiety, and depression, relationship and parenting struggles, grief/loss, PTSD and other life stressors.  During the last five years in private practice, Tracey has been trained in EMDR therapy and trauma work, as well as provided cognitive behavior therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, mindfulness and the spiritual principles of recovery. Tracey also uses a strength's based approach to promote self-regulation and increase coping strategies that lead clients to a better quality of life. Tracey is dedicated to the therapeutic relationship being the primary venue for change so that clients feel encouragement, non-judgement and hope, regarding making lasting changes in their lives.

   To balance work and home life, Tracey is dedicated to positive self care and time to renew which includes spending time with her family, gardening, being in and near water, traveling to the beach in Florida, as well as to Colorado for time in the mountains.
